These are the terms on which Apalachicola Tours runs its tours. They are short because the tours are simple.
Bookings
A booking is confirmed when you reserve on this site and see the confirmation page, which we also send by email. Payment is taken on the day.
Minimum numbers
Each walk needs at least 10 tickets sold to go ahead, counted across every booking, so your group can be any size. If a date has fewer than 10, we cancel it and let you know by email. You can move to another date, and if you have paid anything, you get it back in full.
Changes and cancellations
Tell us at least 24 hours before the tour and we will move you to another day or refund you in full. Inside 24 hours we will still try to move you, but can't promise a refund. If you don't appear at the meeting point within fifteen minutes of the start, the tour leaves without you.
Weather
Walks go out in rain. We cancel for lightning and for tropical weather, and in either case you choose between another day and a full refund.
On the tour
You are responsible for your own footing on old brick and uneven ground. Children are welcome and remain in the care of the adults they came with. Please follow the guide's instructions near the water and on the road.
Photographs
We sometimes photograph tours for this website and for social media. Tell the guide at the start if you'd rather not appear, and we'll keep you out of the frame.
